Bidsmith reads a Freelancer.com project page and writes a bid draft into Describe your proposal. Write fills the box. You submit with Freelancer’s Place Bid.

On a project page, Write sits on the right above Describe your proposal. Bidsmith scrapes the title and description and asks OpenAI for a draft.
Write puts the finished draft in Freelancer’s proposal box so you can edit it. Nothing is submitted until you click Freelancer’s own Place Bid.
You bring the key. It stays on this device and is used only by the extension’s background worker — never by the Freelancer page.
Save portfolio URLs and case studies in Settings. A matching live sample and case study are used in the draft — no /u/ profile link required.
Customize the bid template. Tokens such as {{selection}}, {{portfolio}}, {{signature}}, {{style}}, {{case_studies}}, and {{must_include}} are filled when a draft is generated. Each selected skill can override the default template.
Runs only on freelancer.com and freelancer.in, talks to api.openai.com, and uses Chrome storage. No analytics, and no Bidsmith server. Optional new-project alerts check Freelancer’s public listing at most once a minute while they are switched on, capped and backing off automatically when Freelancer is busy.

Add the extension, paste an OpenAI API key, and optionally add portfolio links and a signature.
Go to a Freelancer.com project details page. Write appears on the right above the proposal box.
Click Write. Edit the text in Freelancer’s proposal box if you want.
Write fills the proposal, selects Sealed, and sets milestones — and stops. Click Freelancer’s own Place Bid if you want to submit. Bidsmith never clicks it.
